Job Description

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Rental Controller to join our client at their office based in West Bromwich on a full-time, permanent basis.

This role is extremely fast-paced and requires someone who can multitask and make decisions under pressure. Any experience of working in a busy rental environment is beneficial.

The purpose of the role is to receive and process all short-term rental enquiries for specialist products, and following the order through the whole process.

You will be responsible for handling enquiries for specialist products, so must have the drive and determination to learn about these products.

Duties of the Rental Controller include:

• Liaising with customers and the sales team to offer support with all new rental enquiries
• Liaising with workshops to schedule workloads
• Setting up new customer accounts
• Raising rental contracts and maintenance documents
• Raising quotations and processing invoices
• Organising off-hires and inspections and noting any damage
• Dealing with termination of agreements
• Monitoring and processing supplier and customer invoices and dealing with invoice queries
• Liaising with sales, technical and installation teams

The ideal candidate will have excellent IT skills including the use of Excel, and any SAP experience is beneficial but not essential.

Excellent customer service skills are a must, as well as good organisation skills and the ability to prioritise and remain calm under pressure.
