Alma Personnel are pleased to be working with their Birmingham based client to recruit for a Production Technician on a temp to perm basis.

Main duties of the Production Technician role include:

• Working with hand tools and machinery to produce small mechanical parts
• Mixing chemicals
• Stock checking
• Move heavy containers
• Working in a hands-on production role

The successful candidate will:

• Have excellent attention to detail skills
• Be able to problem solve
• Be able to work well within a team environment, as well as on own initiative

This role requires a lot of heavy lifting, multiple times a day so you MUST be comfortable doing this.

Full training will be provided, but you will need to have excellent attention to detail skills, and you must be able to problem solve.

They can offer some flexibility on hours, but the ideal shifts would be working:

Monday to Friday: - 6am – 2.30pm OR  7am – 3.30pm
