Alma Personnel are please to be partnered with their Coventry based client to recruit for an experienced Design Engineer (manufacturing bias)

Working a 5 days week with a 2pm finish on Fridays (no hybrid) from site, with some travelling involved.

Main objective to provide design engineering capability to core engineering activities and projects assigned to the business's design engineering centre.

Quality, Cost, Delivery approach to product development from concept to delivery of concept and manufacturing design based on tech specs, costs and other constraints.

• Participate in maintaining relevant engineering processes and procedures.
• Problem solving on existing products and product improvement
• Responsible for evaluating technical issues in order to develop proposals for investigations and/or solutions
• Planning, controlling and delivering assigned projects, ensuring requirements are delivered to plan, budget and costs
• When required, to manage engineers in both work activities and personal development and mentor apprentices/graduates in your field of expertise

Must have experience if 3D CAD and have a hands on approach to engineering, design and development.

Salary up to £45K depending on experience plus excellent company benefits.
